Hi, I’m Martha. My husband Jason and I work full-time, so our 4-year-old daughter, Beverly, normally spends her days at daycare.
About a month ago, Jason’s mom, Cheryl, offered to babysit Bev on Wednesdays at our place. “It’ll be good for her to spend time with Grandma,” she said. It felt like a win.
But then Bev’s behavior changed.
She started saying odd things like,
“I only want to eat with Daddy, Grandma… and her friend.”
When I asked who she meant, she just smiled.
