Christian Bale has broken ground on a $22 million foster care village in Palmdale, California, a unique project designed to keep siblings together. The village, expected to open in 2025, will include 12 homes and a community center, offering a stable environment for children in foster care who are too often separated.
Bale’s passion for the cause began in 2008, after learning about the struggles of siblings in Los Angeles’ foster system. What started as a personal mission has grown into a long-term initiative through Together California, the nonprofit he co-founded with Tim McCormick and Dr. Eric Esrailian.
